Position Overview

This position provides accounting and clerical support to the accounting department for effective handling of financial records and operations.

Pay

$20-$25 hourly

Location

This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records and files, accounts receivable documentation, and miscellaneous filings.
• Performs various accounts receivable duties, mainly billing and payment application.
• Performs basic audit functions to ensure proper posting to accounts.
• Prepares correspondence to assist in answering inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Assists in preparing month-end reports, including printing various reports and creating spreadsheets.
• Prepares daily and weekly reports.
• Maintains job costing portal.
• Works with third-party financers for compliance and payment application.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, and 3-5 years of experience in accounting and accounts receivable.
• JD Edwards accounting software experience preferred.
• Related experience, advanced training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Other duties as needed.
