Job summary

MISO is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support market and transmission settlement operations in Carmel, Indiana. You will develop procedures, improve settlement workflows, and verify invoices and tax documents for suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies.

In this role you will also manage travel and expense reimbursements, and support year-end tax document issuance. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in accounting/finance are required, with Oracle/Concur familiarity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience.
Familiar with electric utility industry accounting practices.
Experience with Oracle and Concur Solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procedures to support the market and transmission settlement process.
Identify improvements to settlement procedures and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
Navigate the steps of invoice verification, coding, and processing, and ensure alignment with the company’s policies and procedures.
Independently ensuring accurate and efficient issuance of year-end tax documents to suppliers
Manage travel and expense reimbursements
