Job summary

Pinion’s PAS team seeks an Assistant Controller to coordinate between bookkeepers, controllers, tax, and A&A, delivering accurate client deliverables. You’ll lead 2–4 bookkeepers, refine reporting packages, and drive process improvements in collaboration with leadership.

The role emphasizes client service, team mentorship, and strong accounting fundamentals, with remote/hybrid options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting and presenting client deliverables.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience valued.
• Experience with agricultural clients is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact for clients, coordinating financial data and documentation.
• Assist in delivering timely, accurate financial statements and close deliverables.
• Supervise 2–4 bookkeepers and mentor team members.
• Develop, document, and improve standardized accounting processes and workflows.
• Support accounting systems and technology for clients and internal teams.
