Job summary

The State of Minnesota seeks an Accounting Officer/Purchasing Team Lead in St. Paul to join the FMR division. You will perform the full range of accounting, purchasing, and related tasks, lead the team, and manage contracts, reporting, and policy compliance.

This role offers up to a 50% hybrid telework arrangement with occasional onsite attendance for meetings. Regular hours are day shift, Monday–Friday, with competitive state benefits and a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of administrative/technical support to purchasing/contracting accounting.
• Proficiency with GAAP and related policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to create/run complex reports and conduct financial analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to resolve complex fiscal issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead work within the Purchasing team and oversee contracts.
• Handle purchasing, blanket purchase orders, and EIOR system administration.
• Prepare financial reports and ad hoc statements for management.
