Job summary

Venturity is seeking a Controller-level Project / Implementation Director to lead a client-facing accounting team and oversee onboarding, implementation meetings, and complex accounting tasks.

You will manage project plans, capacity, and workflow while mentoring staff and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. Strong GAAP knowledge and QuickBooks experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 8+ years hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-company business.
• Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations.
• Strong technical understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred; Great Plains and other accounting software a plus.
• Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Prior leadership or Controllership experience preferred.

As a Project / Implementation Director, you will lead a team that is responsible for on-boarding new clients – hosting implementation meetings with clients, creating and managing project plans, managing team capacity and scheduling workflow, and leading/performing complex projects and accounting tasks.

Education/Experience
