Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 1 year of professional accounting experience or internship preferred.
• Prior experience in financial services preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger through monthly cycles.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, audits and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and NCUA requirements.
• Support regulatory reporting and close activities.
• Provide system support for Prologue, Certify, Frontier.
