Job summary

Westlake Services, LLC is seeking an Accounting Operations Accountant in Los Angeles, CA to join our in-office team. You will handle month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and cash activity while improving workflows and driving automation.

Responsibilities include data validation across GL, bank platforms, and subledgers; partnering with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Tax, and Technology to resolve issues and improve end-to-end processes; and contributing to automation initiatives using

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years in general accounting, corporate accounting, or related experience; internships may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting concepts.
• Experience preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations; supporting month-end close.
• Advanced Excel; Power Query experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and account analyses across key accounting areas.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate items for timely resolution.
• Maintain daily cash balances and support treasury and cash management activities.
• Support the month-end close with review-ready deliverables and clear documentation.
