Job summary

Elektro Assemblies is seeking an organized Accounting Specialist to handle day-to-day accounting and office support in our Red Wing facility. This hands-on role requires meticulous record-keeping and proactive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage payables and receivables, assist with reconciliations and month-end close, and collaborate with management and outside resources to keep the business running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and customer billing.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Monitor customer accounts and support collections.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation.
• Work closely with management and outside accounting resources.
• Manage day-to-day office support functions.
