Job summary

GuideWell in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a CCR Operations Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations team. You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and performance management while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on premium issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 4+ years in accounting/financial analysis with supervisory experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with PeopleSoft. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 4+ years related work experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis and management.
• Experience in GAAP accounting, general ledger close, financial research/analysis and forecasting.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft general ledger system.
• Strong Excel and Word proficiency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage CCR operations and staff; performance feedback, training, and documentation of issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers regarding member & group related premium issues.
• Review daily and monthly journal entries.
• Primarily manages operations team; plans, organizes, and directs activities in assigned department.
• Review monthly reconciliations.
• Report monthly team metrics to CCR leadership.
• Identify and implement quality and productivity improvements in the area.
• Develop and maintain uniform policies and procedures, including researching and creating process flows for the department.
• Coordinate with other areas of the enterprise on projects and workgroups.
