Job summary

Florida Blue Group is seeking an experienced CCR Operations Manager to lead the finance and accounting team, overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, and performance management. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on member and group premium issues, while driving process improvements and policy development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of supervisory experience and 4+ years in accounting/financial analysis with GAAP knowledge; CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years direct supervisory/management experience.
• 4+ years of related work experience in Accounting/ Financial Analysis and management experience.
• Experience in GAAP accounting, general ledger close, financial research/analysis and forecasting.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, practices and theories.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects and multiple priorities.
• Strong PC skills including Excel and Word.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft general ledger system.

Responsibilities

• Review daily and monthly journal entries.
• Primarily manages operations team. Plans, organizes, and directs activities in assigned department.
• Review monthly reconciliations.
• Report monthly team metrics to CCR leadership.
• Review Daily balancing processes.
• Identify and implement quality and productivity improvements in the area.
• Assist in developing and maintaining uniform policies and procedures, including researching and creating process flows for the department.
• Coordinate with other areas of the enterprise as an active participant in various projects and workgroups.
