Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a senior accounting professional to join a growth-focused organization. Working closely with the CFO, you will influence accounting operations and support key initiatives, including selecting and implementing a new cloud-based ERP.

You will optimize GL structure, reporting hierarchies, and workflows to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability, while guiding the Accounting organization through a major transformation with practical, long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in general ledger and accounting operations.
• Experience participating in at least one ERP implementation, migration, or major systems transformation from the Finance/Accounting side.
• Experience serving as an ERP super user, Finance SME, or key accounting resource during implementation and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of GL structure, financial reporting, accounting processes, and how they connect within an ERP environment.

• Partner closely with the CFO across accounting operations, process improvement initiatives, and strategic projects as the organization grows.
• Play a key role in the implementation and adoption of a modern cloud-based ERP solution, serving as a Finance SME and collaborating across departments.
• Evaluate and optimize GL structure, reporting hierarchies, workflows, and accounting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Help strengthen processes, controls, and operational effectiveness across the Accounting function.
• Lead the Accounting organization through a period of transformation with practical solutions as new systems and processes are introduced.

• Help strengthen processes, controls, and operational effectiveness across the Accounting function.
• Help lead the Accounting organization through a period of significant transformation, providing stability and practical solutions as new systems, processes, and technologies are introduced.
