Job summary

NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as a consultant in the Los Angeles market. The initial engagement is full-time onsite with a client located in Burbank, CA beginning immediately.

Upon completion of the first engagement, the consultant will transition to a hybrid schedule with continued client work. The role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting, mentoring staff and coordinating with external auditors, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Burbank, CA for the initial engagement.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including month-end and year-end close.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate directly with client leadership to provide financial clarity and strategic insight.

Compensation

$100,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience
