Dealers Auto Auction of Memphis is seeking an energetic Accounting Supervisor to lead daily transactional accounting and mentor an operational team in a fast-paced auction environment. You will oversee AR, AP and cash flow while ensuring transaction integrity.

You bring 5+ years of transactional accounting, 2+ years of leadership, and a strong GAAP mindset. Automotive dealership or auto auction experience is preferred. This role supports month-end close, audits and process improvements.

Qualificações

• Required: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent years of experience).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive transactional accounting experience (AR/AP/Cash/GL) and 2+ years of direct team leadership.
• Industry experience in automotive dealerships or auto auctions is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Operations: supervise accounting staff, establish daily priorities and manage workflows.
• Cultivate Performance: conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, accountable culture.
• Auction Operations: oversee AR/AP/Cash life cycle and settlement processing.
• Cash Controls: maintain controls over daily cash receipts and reconciliations.
• Month-End Close: assist Controller with journal entries and variance research.
• Audit Readiness: keep documentation for accruals, prepaids, and intercompany activities.
