Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Manager/Director of Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. This role focuses on advising clients on timing and character of income, expenses, capitalization, and cost recovery, including Form 3115 filings and related research.

Your responsibilities include client interviews, data reviews, calculations, and collaborating with managers and partners across the Firm to deliver precise, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA required; Juris Doctorate or Enrolled Agent may be accepted in lieu of CPA.
• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including automatic and non-automatic accounting methods changes.
• Display solid verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex information.
• Plan and participate in accounting methods projects and client interviews.
