CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Washington state seeks a Manager/Director – Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. You will advise on automatic and non-automatic accounting methods changes and collaborate with partners on complex tax issues.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA, and at least six years in a large professional services firm. You’ll communicate clearly, conduct research, and guide client interviews while delivering timely, compliant

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
CPA is required (Juris Doctorate or Enrolled Agent may be accepted in lieu of CPA).
6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management is required.

Responsibilities

Consult on accounting methods-related issues including automatic and non-automatic accounting methods changes.
Display solid verbal and written communication skills to evaluate and articulate complex information.
Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues to maintain knowledge base.
Participate in accounting methods projects, including client interviews and data review.
