Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Davenport, IA, invites applications for the Management Development Associate (Accounting). This full-time program exposes you to finance and controls, supply chain, quality assurance, safety, engineering, production, R&D, information systems, and operations performance.

You will learn to develop and maintain accounting systems, procedures, controls and audits, with rotation across sites and relocation support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027.
Open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 U.S. manufacturing sites as you progress through the MDA program.
Rotation starts at the Nestlé Purina factory in Davenport, Iowa.

Responsibilities

Maintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers and Team Leaders on all matters relating to factory accounting and controls.
Produce accurate and timely departmental training reports, complete with flow diagrams for the entire plant.
Train and develop working knowledge of inventory control systems, including input, internal controls report capabilities and analysis.
Assist in reconciliation of inventories and participation in periodic inventories of raw materials and finished goods.
Perform month-end closing functions and analysis reports.
Conduct audits and compliance testing.
