Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with significant responsibility for revenue recognition under ASC 606.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or with pharma clients in public accounting is required.
  • Big 4 audit experience is required.

  • Partner cross-functionally to support revenue forecasting and revenue recognition methodologies.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Support gross-to-net revenue activities and review third-party calculations.
  • Prepare revenue disclosures and assist external reporting.
  • Maintain internal controls over revenue and receivables.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP, including the review and assessment of complex customer, collaboration, and partnership agreements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support revenue forecasting, resource tracking, and input-based revenue recognition methodologies, ensuring supporting documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Support gross-to-net revenue accounting activities and review third-party calculations and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare revenue-related financial statement disclosures and support external reporting requirements.
  • Maintain effective internal controls over revenue and receivables, ensuring proper documentation, execution, and compliance.
Requirements
