Job summary

Henderson Harbor Group is seeking an Accounting Manager for their real estate client in Midtown Manhattan. The role focuses on managing the accounting and finance functions, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance within a premier development and management firm.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in real estate accounting, including 3+ years in real estate, and experience with Yardi or MRI. Salary is up to $150,000 with an accompanying bonus, and the position is based in NYC with in-house

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with 3+ in Real Estate.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI or similar real estate software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Management of accounting and finance department, financial reporting and general accounting.
• Prepare Monthly Reports (capital availability, capital expenditure).
• Consolidate quarterly/monthly work papers and balance sheet account analysis.
• Review monthly revenue and expenses for each property, review monthly property reports.
• Prepare CAM, Real Estate Tax annual adjustments and estimated billings.
• Prepare financial packages and review GAAP reporting for Firm's Real Estate Investments.
• Work closely with the Property Managers.

Our real estate client located in midtown NYC is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone our of a Big4 or national CPA firm looking to take the skills they've acquired so far and transition into an in-house corporate role with a top-tier development and management firm.

Salary - Up to $150,000 +Bonus
