Job summary

Rippling, a San Francisco-based leader in HR, IT, and Finance software, seeks an Accounting Manager to strengthen the PEO compliance accounting framework as the business scales globally.

You will drive regulatory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits, while partnering with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions. This in-office role emphasizes process automation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience.
• CPA or CA preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and data warehouses (Snowflake, Tableau, Census).
• SQL and data analytics skills a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple entities and projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Initiative-driven with a focus on driving projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for PEO entities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. PEO laws and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product and R&D teams.
• Drive process automation for journal entries, reporting, and system integrations.
• Own ad-hoc requests and special projects.
