The role oversees payroll, fund accounting, and internal controls while guiding staff and collaborating across departments to improve processes.

You will prepare financial reports, support audits, and stay current with evolving accounting standards and reporting requirements, contributing to sound financial decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting standards, laws and regulations.
• Supervisory or team-leader experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain fund accounting records for accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare and analyze financial and managerial accounting reports.
• Review staff work and provide guidance to ensure accuracy.
• Support audits with reports, schedules and analyses.
• Research complex accounting questions and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate across the organization to improve processes.
