Job summary

SHAPE Technologies Group in Baxter Springs, KS is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting for the facility. You will oversee GL, AP, AR and the close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will partner with operations and finance leadership to develop a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and support budgeting and forecasting for the flagship manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and close processes.
• Review complex journal entries and reconciliations for GAAP compliance.
• Drive month-end and year-end close, improving close-cycle efficiency.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
