Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Finance team and oversee accounting operations in the U.S. and Canada, reporting to the Global Controller. You will drive month-end close, consolidate foreign subsidiaries, and partner with management on financial analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, a CPA or advanced degree preferred, and a hands-on leadership style to improve processes and ensure US GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 10+ years in Accounting.
• Ability to motivate, direct, and supervise staff.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; strong accounting acumen.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Accounting Team to achieve goals.
• Ensure timely month-end close and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries.
• Optimize processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Analyze variances against budget and drive cost improvements.
• Document and enforce US GAAP accounting policies and procedures.
• Review monthly reconciliations and support internal/external audits.
• Prepare compliance reporting for banks and government entities.
• Develop financial reports and analytical insights; drive improvements.
