Job summary

The Denver Broncos Football Club and Stadium Management Company are seeking an Accounting Manager to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, maintain robust internal controls, and oversee day-to-day accounting and banking for all entities.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GL oversight, fixed assets tracking, cash flow reporting, and policy development; leadership of accounting staff is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Licensed CPA designation preferred; strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Public accounting background (Big 4 preferred) and leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; ability to lead and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements in GAAP compliant manner.
• Oversee general ledger and month-end close; approve journal entries and reconciliations across entities.
• Track and reconcile Fixed Assets, including CIP; prepare cash flow analyses for executives.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to improve efficiency; support audits and system upgrades.
