Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a qualified finance professional to assist the RCFO Region CFO in securing financial operations and guiding the accounting department to align with the company’s fiscal goals.

The role involves supervising AP/AR teams, preparing weekly to quarterly financial reports, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience, with 1+ year leading others preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable teams and accounting staff.
• Provide technical and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Prepare Sysco weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Enter monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee the close of multiple sets of books and records.
• Support the forecast and annual budget processes.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with Sysco requirements.
• Identify cost-control opportunities and profitability improvements.
• Participate in tax return preparation and local tax compliance.
