Responsibilities

• Forecast tax payments precisely enough to avoid an underpayment penalty
• Drive the annual planning cycle and consolidate financial projections
• Assist with quarterly investor reporting and sharp-but-gentle financial narratives
• Sit beside the Sitka controller on accruals, deferrals, and journal entries
• Keep the audit trail so deeply technical that questions answer themselves
• Reconcile payroll liabilities so the AK filings never bounce
• Reconcile merchant fees against statements that never quite match
• Administer the company expense policy and audit reimbursement claims
