Job summary

Busy Season Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead the accounting team, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. This role partners with management to support financial planning, compliance, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (or 5–7 years of relevant experience), is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and has a proven track record supervising accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or 5–7 years of accounting experience.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience supervising or leading accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial recordkeeping.
• Lead and support the accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and GL activity.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Monitor cash flow and significant financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
