Wausau Homes, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in Rothschild, Wisconsin and support strategic growth. This role requires a bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2–3+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a talented accounting team.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Human Resources.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP system enhancements.
