Tarvos Talent LLC partners with a stable aerospace and defense manufacturer in Southwest Austin seeking an Accounting Manager to join the leadership team. This onsite role offers direct exposure to executives and a clear path to lead Accounting and Finance, shaping policies and strategies.

The role requires ownership of close processes, cost accounting, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, PMs, and treasury.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Cost accounting principles and standards knowledge.
• Experience supporting supply chain and manufacturing operations with financial analysis.
• Project accounting experience with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue initiatives.
• Revenue recognition experience (earned, unbilled, deferred).
• ERP experience required; Epicor experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accurate reporting.
• Oversee cost accounting including material, labor, and overhead analysis.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain to monitor production costs and profitability.
• Support project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key metrics.
• Manage revenue recognition including earned, unbilled, and deferred revenue.
• Provide labor and cost analyses and performance reporting to leadership.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
