Addison Group seeks an Accounting Manager in New York to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead the accounting team, and support a timely close process. This role blends hands-on accounting with leadership and cross-functional partnership across FP&A, Operations, and Finance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and a track record of implementing process improvements and SOX controls in a multi-entity environment.

Formación

• CPA is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Public accounting and corporate/industry background preferred; Big 4 a plus.
• Experience mentoring and developing accounting professionals.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in multi-entity reporting and SOX compliance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure GAAP-compliant recording.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, and Finance on business initiatives.
• Lead and develop Senior/Staff Accountants and manage workloads.
