A large, multi-entity building materials distributor serving commercial construction customer, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and manage a team of approximately 3–5 accountants. This person will also work with accounting teams across other divisions as the business continues to evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and review the work of senior and staff accountants.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain strong internal controls and consistent application of U.S. GAAP.
• Investigate financial variances and improve accounting processes across divisions.
