Job summary

SOL Mental Health in Colorado seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, payroll, and month-end close in partnership with leadership, clinicians, practice teams, and vendors. You’ll ensure accurate, efficient financial operations aligned with SOL’s mission and values.

You will lead monthly closings, manage reconciliations, and drive process improvements while supporting tax filings, audits, and budgeting, all within HIPAA-compliant healthcare framework and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial operations experience.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Paylocity, SAP Concur, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage payroll accounting, bank and credit card reconciliations, benefits, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, accruals, and intercompany activity.
• Oversee expense management, invoice approvals, procurement, and payments.
• Prepare monthly financials and support P&L and Board reporting.
• Support tax filings, audits, and year-end reporting and budgeting.
• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders across SOL’s markets to improve processes and support growth.
• Collaborate with external vendors and outsourced partners.
• Provide Finance leadership support as needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Contribute to a collaborative, proactive, and positive team culture.
