Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead AI implementation and automation projects while supporting journal entries, reconciliations and period-end close analyses.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics, predictive insights, and digital transformation in accounting and finance, ensuring US GAAP compliance and SOX controls are maintained.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field with experience in public accounting being a strong preference
• Experience leading or supporting AI, robotic process automation (RPA), business intelligence, or digital transformation projects within accounting or finance functions.
• Strong understanding of U.S GAAP and SOX

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives, including automation of close activities, template standardization, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support AI-driven solutions and intelligent automation tools to streamline accounting processes and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics and emerging technologies to improve financial operations.
• Review period-end close processes, journal entries, expense accruals, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations within deadlines.
• Assist business partners in understanding accounting activities and financial results.
• Approve or perform cash funding and settlement of intercompany receivables/payables.
• Review and/or prepare ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

The Accounting Manager will help lead and focus on AI implementation and automation projects while also supporting accounting-related activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis of the period-end close.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives, including automation of close activities, template standardization, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI-driven solutions and intelligent automation tools to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics, predictive insights, and emerging technologies to improve financial operations and decision-making.
• Review assigned areas from the period-end financial close process, including recording and reviewing journal entries, reviewing expense accruals, and performing financial analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations within established deadlines.
• Assist business partners in understanding accounting activities and financial results.
• Approve or perform various operational tasks, such as cash fundings and settlement of intercompany receivables and payables.
• Review and/or prepare various ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
