Job summary

Faztek, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Accounting Manager who will own the monthly close, manage a small team, and directly perform key accounting functions to keep real-time visibility into the company’s financial position.

This hands-on leader will build scalable processes, ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate AR/AP, and partner with the CFO to drive cash flow discipline and accurate reporting as Faztek grows.

Qualifications

• 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or production.
• Ability to independently perform core accounting functions (close, AR/AP, reconciliations).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the monthly financial close schedule.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Monitor AR aging and ensure collections are actively managed.
• Ensure AP processes are efficient and payments are made timely.
• Maintain oversight of cash outflows and vendor relationships.
• Develop and improve internal financial controls and scalable processes.
• Track CWIP projects and depreciation schedules.
• Provide timely financial information to the CFO and ownership.
