Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, review journal entries, and manage cost, revenue, and cash transactions. You will oversee balance sheet and P&L integrity, GL reconciliations, and cash management, working with Payroll and AP to ensure timely disbursements.

The role requires Deltek Costpoint experience, advanced Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will guide audits, budgeting cycles, and policy development within a government

Qualifications

• Managerial experience preferred.
• Government contracting experience; T&M contract experience preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• Microsoft Excel advanced level experience required.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close process to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Review compilation of regular monthly and reversing journal entries.
• Post cost, revenue, and cash transactions as needed.
• Review balance sheet and income statements for discrepancies.
• Review monthly General Ledger reconciliations, focus on cash accounts.
• Manage cash balances to meet disbursement needs.
• Collaborate with Payroll to complete biweekly payroll disbursements.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for timely cash disbursements.
• Manage tax filings and lead annual financial audit and statement prep.
• Develop and maintain procedures; implement new policies as needed.
• Administer Costpoint GL, Deltek T&E, and bank accounts.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle.
• Serve as the point of contact for Deltek Costpoint finance questions.
