The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, managerial experience, and strong Deltek Costpoint and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration/Management.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• T&M government contracting experience preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• Microsoft Excel advanced level required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Review monthly and reversing journal entries; post cost, revenue, and cash transactions as needed.
• Oversee balance sheet and income statement integrity; correct discrepancies.
• Review GL reconciliations with focus on cash accounts; manage cash balances for disbursements.
• Coordinate with Payroll for biweekly disbursements and with AP for timely cash outlays.
• Lead annual financial audit and financial statement preparation.
• Develop and improve procedures; administer Costpoint GL, Deltek T&E, and bank accounts.
• Support annual budgeting cycle and respond to technical finance questions related to Costpoint.
