Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking an Accounting Manager, Global Consolidations to lead monthly close processes for the global financials and to coordinate intercompany transactions across locations. You will prepare and review SEC filings, support cross-functional teams, and drive clearly reported results for upper management.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA preferred, 3+ years of relevant experience, and Hyperion Financial Management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience, managerial experience preferred.
  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience required.
  • Considerable public accounting experience, with an emphasis in SEC engagements.
  • Strong work-ethic and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and achieve results, while maintaining a high quality of work.
  • Excellent analytical, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the consolidation team processes through monthly close of global financials, including intercompany transaction review and resolution, detailed review of consolidated financials, cash flow reporting, and presentation of results to upper management.
  • Review updates to the global consolidation and reporting tool, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Prepare and review SEC financial filings, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
  • Collaborate across the global organization to develop financial information and analysis for internal and external reporting needs.
  • Review, resolution, and application of technical accounting issues.
  • Evaluate impacts of new accounting and reporting rules and lead implementation.
  • Work with external auditors.
  • Manage special projects related to financial reporting, M&A activity, accounting system updates.

Accounting Manager, Global Consolidations at a Glance

The Accounting Manager, Global Consolidations is critical to consolidating the global results of Kraft Heinz on a monthly basis and assisting in preparing quarterly and annual SEC financial disclosures. This is a high-visibility role, which requires coordinating the flow of information from multiple business units located worldwide to the various global finance teams and upper management. In this role, you will work with an experienced team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additionally, this role will play a critical role in other significant projects, including a global financial system transformation, as well as assisting with acquisitions, divestitures, new accounting policies and standard updates, and training initiatives.

Recipe for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus:

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
