Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Finance Manager for Corporate Technology in Chicago. This role partners across Finance, Technology, and enterprise teams to drive financial discipline and actionable insights for both OPEX and CAPEX.

You will shape investment decisions, lead governance, and advance automation to improve workflows and reporting. The position emphasizes entrepreneurial rigor, data-driven decision making, and strong stakeholder collaboration to support Corporate Technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of FP&A or related experience.
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate data into business decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication across Finance, Technology, and business teams.
  • Experience leveraging LLMs, AI, and automation workflows to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, forecasting, and performance management across Corporate Technology OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Partner closely with Technology leaders, project owners, and Finance stakeholders on financial routines, portfolio priorities, and investment decisions.
  • Support Corporate and Headquarters initiatives through robust financial planning, reporting, and decision support.
  • Partner with the functions served by Technology to ensure financial plans reflect enterprise needs.
  • Manage intercompany cost recharges from Corporate to regional organizations, ensuring clear allocation logic and alignment with financial planning routines.
  • Deliver insights on spend, drivers, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
  • Support investment governance, business case evaluation, and financial decision-making.
  • Partner with project managers to develop and obtain approval for CAPEX requests.
  • Build leadership-ready reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strengthen forecast accuracy, cost transparency, and portfolio discipline.
  • Lead portfolio governance meetings with Technology leadership, including bi-weekly investment reviews and monthly performance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting processes.
  • Drive automation and AI-enabled process improvements to boost speed and efficiency.

Finance Manager, Corporate Technology at a glance….

The Finance Manager, Corporate Technology sits within the Finance organization and serves as the finance partner to the Corporate Technology portfolio across both OPEX and CAPEX.

This role supports Corporate and Headquarters initiatives, partnering primarily with Technology leadership and teams while also connecting with the functions Technology serves. It is designed for someone who combines financial rigor with an entrepreneurial mindset, bringing insight, discipline, and new ways to simplify work, improve workflows, and streamline processes through automation and modern AI tools.

This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and enterprise partnership. The Finance Manager will help shape investment decisions, strengthen financial discipline, and improve the operating rhythms that support Corporate Technology priorities.

  • Support Corporate and Headquarters initiatives through robust financial planning, reporting, and decision support
  • Partner with the functions served by Technology to ensure financial plans and priorities reflect enterprise needs
  • Manage intercompany cost recharges from Corporate to regional organizations, ensuring clear allocation logic, accurate execution, and alignment with financial planning routines
  • Deliver clear insights on spend, drivers, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs
  • Support investment governance, business case evaluation, and financial decision-making
  • Partner with project managers to develop, review, and obtain approval for Capital Appropriation Requests
  • Build leadership-ready reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strengthen forecast accuracy, cost transparency, and portfolio discipline
  • Lead recurring portfolio governance meetings with Technology leadership, including bi-weekly investment review sessions and monthly financial performance reviews (MPR), providing insights and recommendations to support investment and portfolio decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, simplify financial routines, and improve reporting processes
  • Drive automation and process improvement through practical use of modern AI and digital tools where they add speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, business finance, portfolio finance, or performance management
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Finance, Technology, and business teams
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify better ways of working and turn ideas into practical improvement
  • Experience leveraging LLMs, AI, and automation workflows to streamline processes, enhance decision support, and improve operating efficiency
  • Comfort working in technically oriented environments and translating financial analysis into insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
