Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an Accounting Manager to support month-end close, reconciliations, SEC disclosure, and daily AP operations. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this individual will play an important role in managing financial reporting processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry experience preferred).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with SEC reporting and disclosures is a plus.
• Familiarity with high-growth tech or hardware manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliation processes in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work cross-functionally, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review and post daily and monthly journal entries.
• Support and streamline the month-end close process with critical entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation and review of SEC disclosure schedules (10-K, 10-Q).
• Coordinate audit requests with internal and external auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect financial data and perform analyses.
• Support cash forecasting and drive improvements in forecasting accuracy.
• Participate in automation and system enhancement projects to improve close processes.
• Provide guidance to accounting staff and promote accountability and improvement.
• Ensure accuracy and best practices in financial reporting aligning with company objectives.
