Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an Accounting Manager to support month-end close, reconciliations, SEC disclosure support, and daily AP operations. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process improvements across accounting functions.

The ideal candidate has a solid US GAAP background, public and private accounting experience, and strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with SEC reporting and disclosures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and post daily and monthly journal entries.
• Review account reconciliations with emphasis on prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other key components.
• Assist with month-end close process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and review disclosure schedules for SEC filings (Form 10-K and 10-Q).
• Coordinate audit requests with internal and external auditors.
