Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applying it to complex transactions.
• Experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ability to independently research and resolve accounting issues.
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and supporting external audits.
• Experience supervising or directing accounting personnel.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Review ledgers and net asset classifications for accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances; support audited financial statements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and develop policies and procedures.
• Supervise Senior Accountant(s) and Accountant(s) and manage workloads.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via technology and automation.
