Job summary

Mid America Precast, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our employee-owned team. This role oversees critical accounting, financial reporting, human resources, and employee benefits, supporting overall financial operations.

You will manage AR/AP/HR, general ledger, and monthly/year-end statements, while administering the 401(k) and ESOP programs. Strong detail orientation and communication skills are essential in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/accounting or related field.
• Proficient with accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Human Resources functions.
• Maintain and manage the company’s general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for review by external accounting firm.
• Administer the company’s 401(k) plan and ESOP.
