The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Mission Valley is seeking an Accounting Manager!

If you possess strong leadership skills and a drive to make a positive impact, this role is for you. Our property features 300 guest rooms and over 31,000 square feet of event space, including 11 meeting rooms.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of accounting experience, with a minimum of one year in hotel accounting. Previous Hilton experience is preferred.

Salary Range: $68,640 - $70,000

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts, review discrepancies, and guide staff on follow-up actions.
  • Ensure accurate processing of reports, including month-end closing, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Control and monitor inventories related to operational, departmental, and team member meal budgets.
  • Oversee data downloading into timekeeping systems.
  • Manage weekly submission of time and attendance data, including gratuities.
  • Calculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for checks received.
  • Conduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecks.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members.
