Job summary

Amazon Devices and Services Accounting is seeking a seasoned finance professional to own end-to-end accounting processes for a diverse portfolio. The role emphasizes ownership, timely monthly closes, and collaboration with business partners and IT teams to improve controls and processes.

The candidate will work within a dynamic environment, applying GAAP and COSO principles to evolving business models while supporting different product lines and services under Amazon’s umbrella.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting processes.
• Own end-to-end processes to assist finance and business partners.
• Assess internal control design concepts and propose new controls for growing activities.
• Execute judgments to timely close monthly books.
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership.
• Show ownership mindset in assignments and projects.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Lead delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
• Strengthen partnerships between Accounting and business/IT teams.
