Amazon Devices and Services Accounting is seeking a financial accounting professional to support the accounting and reporting process across hardware, software, and services. You will own end-to-end processes, assess internal controls, and drive improvements that move projects forward and close monthly books.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supporting various aspects of accounting and reporting process.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
• Understand internal control design concepts to assess control effectiveness and design new processes.
• Execute judgments to close the books each month.
• Escalating risks and issues to leadership.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Lead delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
• Enhance partnerships between Accounting and business/IT groups.
• Research, conclude and memorialize technical accounting position papers.
