Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Corporate Accounting team in a Fortune 25 environment. The role focuses on GAAP-compliant reporting, strong internal controls, and mentoring a high-performing group while driving process improvements across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting, CPA preferred, and a track record of leading close processes. This hybrid role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and growth within a large finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal control processes.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Internal Audit, and business leaders across the organization.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes through automation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in special projects, system implementations, and strategic finance initiatives.
