Accounting Manager/Controller

Location: Clackamas OR

Salary: $110,000–$120,000

A growing, family-oriented construction company is looking for a collaborative and experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to lead its team and oversee financial operations. This role offers a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on accounting expertise, alongside strong interpersonal relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Of Accounting Manager/Controller

• Prepare financial statements and provide strategic recommendations based on budget performance
• Lead budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with project managers and department heads
• Manage daily accounting operations with accuracy and compliance
• Perform and oversee month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial consolidations
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability; identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Lead and mentor a team of 4 accounting team members
  
  

Accounting Manager/ Controller Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience
• Experience in a leadership or team management role
• Positive, collaborative, trustworthy, and able to connect with stakeholders at all levels
