Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager (Individual Contributor) to join our finance team in Florida. You will own the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, or Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Finance considered with strong accounting background).
• 3–5 years of Construction Accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; balance sheet reconciliations; loan management/construction financing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial packages for management review.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage loan accounting and construction financing activities.
• Process weekly payroll and support vendor compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate accounting processes across departments to ensure timely reporting.
• Identify process improvements and support finance projects.

Required

• Experience working as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, or Controller
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Finance considered with strong accounting background)
• 3–5 years of Construction Accounting experience
• Experience with:

Despite the title, this is an individual contributor role responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, leading month-end close, and coordinating accounting operations across the organization.
