• Familiarity with CIA Certification and related tools.
• Strong Accounts Payable expertise with Treasury Management exposure.
• SOX compliance experience in a full-time setting.

Responsibilities

• Sits beside the Rockville controller on accruals, deferrals, and journal entries.
• Build close documentation for a new manager hire to follow blind.
• Maintain airtight deferred revenue schedules as contracts renew.
• Test pricing models before presenting to Bain & Company board.
• Price vendor contracts and surface savings opportunities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Pair Accounts Receivable reporting with Innovation reviews for a tighter feedback loop.
• Enforce capitalization policy across finance projects.
