The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership ability, and experience operating in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong experience with core operational accounting functions.
• Experience with large ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Unanet, Costpoint) preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to lead in a hands-on environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
• Manage general ledger operations and ensure timely, accurate accounting results
• Review journal entries, account analyses, and supporting schedules
• Supervise accounting staff and support team development
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
• Partner with leadership on reporting, audit support, and operational improvements
• Assist with systems optimization and accounting process standardization
