Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Dalton, GA to oversee month-end through year-end close and coordinate external audits. You will manage tax filings, incentives, and HQ reporting requests while strengthening internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred), leadership skills, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment. This is a salaried, on-site position with the HQ reporting line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience leading month-end, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax basics.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP (or similar ERP).
• Experience managing external audits and tax filings.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis; present variance analyses.
• Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage federal, state, local tax filings and tax incentives/credits.
• Respond to HQ reporting requests and ad-hoc analyses.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Train and mentor accounting staff; support budgeting and forecasting.
